What size wheel loader do I need for my project?

Do your loaders come with operators?
Our default is operator-driven hire with a dedicated qualified operator matched to each machine, kept on the machine through the contract rather than rotated across the fleet. That consistency improves cycle time and reduces onsite bedding-in. Loader operator skill drives twenty to thirty percent production differences on the same machine over the life of a contract, so operator-driven is where the value lands for most clients. Loaders are the one exception in our fleet where dry hire is available on request. Where dry hire suits your scope, tell us at quoting stage and we will price accordingly.
How do you match bucket capacity to truck payload?
The target is three loader passes per truck or fewer. Beyond three passes, cycle time inflates and truck utilisation drops. A 3m³ loader bucket loads a 10m³ tipper in three to four passes; a 5m³ bucket loads a 15m³ tipper in three passes; and mining-class loaders are matched to ADT and rigid dump truck payloads for continuous production cycles. Bucket type also matters: general-purpose for soil and mixed material, rock buckets for abrasive overburden, light-material buckets for loose aggregate and coal. We match bucket, machine class, and truck size at quoting stage rather than leaving it to on-site improvisation.
What is the difference between a loader, an excavator, and a bulldozer on an earthworks site?
Each does a different job. Loaders pick up and carry material short distances, load trucks, and manage stockpiles. Excavators dig, trench, and load in place. Bulldozers push and shape material over short distances. On most bulk earthworks contracts all three are deployed in sequence: dozers push and rough-shape the platform, excavators dig and load material into trucks, and loaders manage stockpiles and feed haulage where the excavator is not positioned to load directly.
