What does a demolition quote include?
The quote itemises plant and operators, supervision, the demolition method statement and compliance documentation, dust control, rubble processing or cart-away, and disposal fees where material leaves site. It excludes hazardous-material removal (asbestos and similar require registered specialist contractors — we coordinate but do not self-perform that scope) and utility disconnection fees charged by the service providers. Itemised rather than lump-sum, so the commercial team can compare like for like.
Can demolition rubble be reused on site?
Usually, and it is often the deciding economic factor. Concrete and masonry arisings are crushed on site into graded aggregate and base course using our own crushing and screening plant, which cuts both the cart-away bill and the cost of buying stone back in for the earthworks that follow. Steel is separated for salvage. What cannot be reused is classified and carted to licensed facilities with records retained.
